Ubud is known as the spiritual and artistic center of Bali. This was the most incredible hotel stay we had on our entire trip. While in Ubud, we attended a local cremation ceremony, which was one of the most memorable experiences of the whole journey. We also visited the Sacred Monkey Forest—which was a little scary. I really love monkeys, though, so it was also amazing. The town is great for strolling, with so many cool shops. I wish we had more time to spend there.
